About goto.poker
Who runs goto.poker, why it exists and what it will never do.
goto.poker answers one question: where can you legally play poker, online or at a casino, from where you are right now.
The site was started by a small team of poker players who kept running into the same problem while travelling: every “best poker sites” list assumed you were in the United States or the United Kingdom, and every live-room directory was either years out of date or full of rooms that had no licence at all. We wanted one place that starts from the regulator’s register and works backwards.
What we do
- List online poker rooms per country only when the operator holds a licence from that country’s regulator.
- Maintain a directory of live poker rooms inside licensed casinos, with addresses, stakes and tournament schedules checked against the venue’s own published information.
- Show the date each page was last verified, and say plainly when something could not be confirmed.
What we do not do
- We do not list offshore or unlicensed rooms as legal options, even where they are widely used.
- We do not accept payment for a listing or a ranking. Some operators pay us a commission when a reader signs up, and this is disclosed next to every link. See how we rate.
- We do not publish operator-written content.
