Who runs goto.poker, where the listings come from and how the site pays for itself.
goto.poker answers one question: where can you legally play poker, online or at a casino, from wherever you are.
A few poker players started the site after hitting the same wall while travelling. Every “best poker sites” list assumed you were in the United States or the United Kingdom, and the live-room directories were years out of date or listed rooms with no licence at all. We wanted something that starts from the regulator’s register and works backwards from there.
What we do
- List online poker rooms per country only when the operator holds a licence from that country’s regulator.
- Maintain a directory of live poker rooms inside licensed casinos, with addresses, stakes and tournament schedules checked against the venue’s own published information.
- Show the date each page was last verified, and say so when we could not confirm something.
What we do not do
- We do not list offshore or unlicensed rooms as legal options, even where they are widely used.
- We do not accept payment for a listing or a ranking. Some operators pay us a commission when a reader signs up, and we say so next to every link. See how we rate.
- We do not publish operator-written content.
