How licensing works

ADM grants an online gaming concession and a GAD licence number to each operator. The 2025 tender replaced every existing concession, so the numbers on this page will not match older guides. Every licensed site prints its GAD number in the footer, so you can check.

The market

PokerStars.it holds roughly a third of cash-game traffic, with Sisal and SNAI running as skins on its network. 888poker.it keeps its own pool. iPoker.it hosts several betting-brand skins, and People’s Poker is still the largest independent Italian network.

Advertising

The 2018 Dignity Decree bans gambling advertising in Italy, and AGCOM enforces it against affiliates as well as operators. So this page lists the licensed rooms and stops there: no bonus offers, no promotional copy.

What changed in 2025?

All online concessions were re-tendered. Fifty-two new nine-year concessions went live in November 2025 at €7 million each, so every room on this page is verified against the new list.

Why can't I play against players abroad?

Italy declined to join the France-Spain-Portugal shared pool. Italian sites are ring-fenced.

Why are there no bonus offers on this page?

Italy’s Dignity Decree bans gambling advertising, and ADM’s 2026 guidance limits affiliate content to purely informational listings. We show what is licensed, not what is on offer.
