Casino Buenos Aires – Poker Room

The room

Casino Buenos Aires is a floating casino: two moored four-storey vessels at Dársena Sur, on the southern edge of Puerto Madero, fitted out in Mississippi riverboat style. Gaming is spread across both hulls, and the poker room is a dedicated space on one of them with around 29 tables.

It is a cash-game room. No-limit hold’em is the main game and tables run through the venue’s opening hours, from six in the morning until one the following night. As of the most recent check the room does not run a regular tournament schedule at all, so a trip here should be planned around cash games rather than an event.

Getting there

Dársena Sur is at the southern end of Puerto Madero, past the restored docks, roughly a fifteen-minute taxi ride from the Microcentro. It is not a comfortable walk at night and public transport is thin, so a taxi or a ride app is the usual approach. Parking on site is free, as is entry.

Practical details

The casino is licensed by LOTBA, the City of Buenos Aires gambling authority. Minimum age is 18 and a photo ID is required; visitors register with a passport. Games are in Argentine pesos. There is no online poker brand tied to the venue that is licensed for the city, so nothing is linked here.
