The Republic of Cyprus granted a single exclusive casino licence, held by the operator of City of Dreams Mediterranean in Limassol and its smaller satellite venues. The regulator is the Cyprus Gaming and Casino Supervision Commission. There is no second licensed casino operator on the government-controlled part of the island.
The minimum age is 21, higher than the EU norm, and identity is verified on entry: non-EU visitors need a passport. Games are in euros. This directory does not list the casinos in the north of the island: they are licensed by the authorities of a state recognised only by Turkey and fall outside EU and Cypriot supervision, so they cannot be presented here as a regulated option.
