Club Barrière Paris – Poker Room

The room

Club Barrière Paris occupies 1,300 square metres at 104 Champs-Élysées, the address that was home to the Aviation Club de France for most of a century before the Barrière group reopened it as a licensed gaming club. Of its twenty-seven gaming tables, fourteen are given to poker: Texas Hold’em and Omaha cash games from mid stakes upwards, with a separate lounge for the larger games. RFID readers in the tables and cash desks track pots and chip movements, which is unusual outside major festival rooms.

Tournaments

Alongside the daily cash games the club runs a regular tournament programme and is the Paris stop of the Barrière Poker Tour, the group’s own circuit across its French venues. Dates and structures are published by the club; we link to its schedule rather than reproducing it.

Practical details

Doors open at 13:00 and the last games break up around six in the morning. Entry is free, the minimum age is 18, and an identity document is checked at reception. Games are in euros. The club sits between the George V and Charles de Gaulle-Étoile metro stations, so it is straightforward to reach at any hour the room is open, and it is close enough to Club Pierre Charron that players move between the two in a single night.
