The room

The Venetian Macao holds the largest poker room still operating in the territory, with around 21 tables on the main casino floor of a property better known for baccarat and for having one of the biggest gaming floors in the world. It is the most dependable place in Macau to find a live cash game: no-limit hold’em is the staple and pot-limit Omaha runs alongside it, in Hong Kong dollars, with stakes set well above what a European room of the same size would spread.

Poker here is a small tenant in a very large building. The resort’s own website does not advertise gaming at all, in line with Macau’s advertising rules, so the room is best confirmed by phone or on arrival rather than online.

Getting there

The Venetian is on Cotai, roughly ten minutes by road from Macau International Airport and twenty from the Outer Harbour ferry terminal, with free shuttle buses from both and from the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge border post. The Macau LRT stops on the Cotai strip within walking distance.

Practical details

Minimum age is 21 for entry and play, and a passport is checked at the door for visitors. Currency on the poker floor is the Hong Kong dollar. Macau has no licensed online poker, so there is no online option to link.
