The room

Casinos Poland runs the country’s best-known card room on the second floor of the Presidential Hotel on Aleje Jerozolimskie, the tower opposite Warsaw Central station that spent decades as the Marriott. The casino is open around the clock across two levels, with roulette, blackjack and baccarat alongside the poker tables. Texas Hold’em is the main game, with Omaha and Seven Card Stud also dealt, and there is a private area for larger games.

Tournaments

A regular tournament programme runs alongside the cash games, and because Warsaw has no competing room it is where Polish live poker concentrates. Buy-ins and start times are published by the casino; Polish players also travel to Prague, Bratislava and Rozvadov for bigger festivals, since Poland has nothing on that scale.

Practical details

Entry is free but registration is mandatory: staff record a valid original passport or national ID card at the door, as Polish law requires at every casino. The minimum age is 18 and games are in złoty. The location is as central as it gets in Warsaw, above the main railway station and a few minutes from the Palace of Culture, so it is easy to reach at any hour.
