What we like
- Recreational model: no HUDs, anonymous tables, no table selection
- Licensed in seven of the markets we cover
- Banzai and other casual formats
What we don't
- Low traffic above mid stakes
- No hand-history tools for serious study
Games and traffic
Unibet left the Microgaming network in 2014 to build its own client around recreational play, and it has stuck to that. Tables are anonymous, you cannot pick your seat, and there is nothing to study afterwards. Regulars hate it, which is rather the point: the casual players stay at the table longer because nobody is reading them. Traffic is highest in the Nordics and the Netherlands, and it drops away above mid stakes.
Verdict
The best room for occasional players in the markets where it is licensed, and a poor fit for anyone grinding volume.
