What we like

  • Largest room in the France-Spain-Portugal shared pool
  • Modern client with the Expresso jackpot format
  • Strong live tour with satellites

What we don't

  • Licensed only in France and Spain
  • No mixed games

Games and traffic

Winamax is the rare independent that beat PokerStars in its home market. The client is quick and unfussy, the Expresso jackpot sit-and-gos are the busiest in Europe, and the tournament series sets the calendar for French and Spanish players. What you will not find is a mixed game, and the room has never sought a licence outside those two markets.

Verdict

First choice for anyone playing under a French or Spanish licence. There is no way to play it from anywhere else.
